Metalplast fans
Metalplast is a Polish manufacturer of industrial ventilation from Tarnowskie Góry, operating for over 50 years. In this category you will find fans roof, radial, canal and axial – in standard, chemical resistant, explosion-proof (Ex) and energy-efficient EC motors.
UV-resistant hard PVC housings, F-grade and IP 55/54 protection, sizes from ø125 mm to ø560 mm and larger.

How to choose a fan
- Productivity – space volume × times the exchange per hour (halls usually 4–8).
- Tension – sum of resistance of channels, knees and filters; the operating point must be above this value.
- Direction of ejection – the levels protect the roof, the vertical leads the air higher.
- Working conditions – temperature, pollination, chemical fumes or Ex zone decide on performance.

Horizontal or vertical discharge?
Levels (WDc/s) – lower design, protects the roof from moisture. Vertical (WDk) – air discharged higher, with contaminants and annoying smells.
What performance to choose?
Cubatura × times exchange. Hall 1500 m3 at 6 exchanges per hour requires 9000 m3/h.
What gives the version to +60 °C?
Allows a higher temperature of the compressed air. The standard is +40 °C.
Installation directly on the roof?
The recommended roof base with flange compatible with the øDo dimension – ensures tightness and damps vibration.
Chemoproof or Ex?
Chemo-resistant protects the device from aggressive fumes. Ex protects the environment from ignition. They're different targets.
